I brought the kids outside to play and D came home on his lunch break. He got out of the truck and walked around to the passenger side and pulled out a large cage. The minute he did, I knew I was in trouble. He walks up with a rabbit. Apparently someone at work was getting rid of it. Which means D must have been in discussion with said person and agreed to take it. Nowhere in that timeframe did he mention this to me. The kids of course got very excited and the poor rabbit was scared to death. If three screaming kids came at me in a cage, I would be scared too.His name is Petey and he is litter box trained. The kids like petting him and feeding him carrots. I made it clear to D that he would be the one to take care of it since I didn't have any say to having another pet. Of course I have to deal with the kids begging me to got downstairs to see him and then washing their hands after they pet him.
