Splash pad fun!
After a week of 100+ degree heat and being cooped up inside, we finally got to have some outdoor fun yesterday. I have been wanting to take the kids to a splash pad and another woman in my moms club was planning on going yesterday, so I thought it was a great time to go. Olivia was thrilled because she is great friends with the one woman's daughter and her triplets are the same age as my twins. It was great. Logan, being my slow to warm up kid, just stood there and watched for at least 15 minutes before he would even touch any water. Olivia took off with her friend instantly and Mackenzie just jumped right in. The girls have no fear. Finally Logan played in the water and we walked around to check out the other water things, but he never got soaked. He just stuck to playing in it with his hands and feet. Funny how different all of the kids are.
